Eccotemp L5 Review
On top of being tankless, this water heater is also portable and has an outdoor shower which makes it perfect for camping, cabins and trailers. It has two 2D cell batteries and heats the water no matter the distance of the grid, and can raise the temperature up to 35 degrees and has a flow rate of 1.5 gallons per minute.
PROS
- Inexpensive.
- Can be integrated to our actual pressurized water system.
- Can be adjusted from warm to HOT (it’s quite powerful at max setting).
- Can be used without heating (cold showers)
- Easy to operate (no need to hook the water and propane each time).
CONS
- The water knob can’t be adjusted to a lower setting to save water and the gas knob can’t neither be adjusted to a lower setting.
- The flame extinguishes if it’s windy, but if you turn off and then turn on the water the flame ignites again like shown in this Eccotemp l5 water heater review.
It can also be useful for washing your car, boat, dogs, horse (or any animal), for taking a hot shower or you can add it to a pressure washer for better cleaning. The ignition with the 2 “D” batteries makes it great for off grid or other areas where electricity is not available.
